  1. Hi all

You all may have read the news about 1000 Genome Project. This international research effort to map the full spectrum of genetic variation in humans has published their first result of the pilot study in last month.

I found their paper very interesting: Here is the link:

  8. Hello!

I found the Young Women in Science booklet brought to you by Science/AAAS in collaboration with the L'Oréal Corporate Foundation recently.

These new profiles, from interviews with young women at the start of their science careers, tell their stories of passion and persistence —what drives and excites them about their work in the sciences. We hope that young girls (and boys)—as well as their educators—will find fun and inspiration in these pages and learn a little about what life as a scientist is all about.
